Krissy Carbo
Krissy is a Registered Dietitian, founder of Better With Carbo, & ex yo-yo dieter. After years of following everyone else's diet rules she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. After receiving her Master's in Function & Integrative Human Nutrition, she learned that most of the diet advice out there is out dated, misguided, and contributes to chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation is the root cause of so many common health issues we see today like diabetes, heart disease, anxiety & depression, and autoimmunity (like MS). Krissy has made it her mission to debunk nutrition myths & help people get to a place of real sustainable health.

Anti-Inflammatory Approach
1
Create Balanced Meals & Snacks
When we eat balanced meals and snacks we keep our blood sugar in check. Blood sugar isn't just a diabetics problem. If you have any kind of inflammatory disorder, you want to make sure you're eating in a way the avoids sugar spikes.
2
Heal the Gut
Did you know that around 80% of your immune system is in your gut? Since inflammation is an immune response, when we heal our gut we rebalance our immune system. When we support our immune system, inflammation disappears.
3
Keep it simple & Stay Flexible
When we keep things simple we increase our chances for long-term success. I know its hard, but it's also important to let go of perfectionism! When we cut ourselves some slack, give ourselves credit, and know that we won't always be 100% perfect, better health comes to us naturally.
